Warner Bros today announced Vacation Isle: Beach Party, a new videogame that invites families and friends to a virtual island paradise that's brimming with fun and lively beach activities.
Developed by FarSight Studios, creator of the highly successful Game Party series, the party keeps on going with Vacation Isle: Beach Party, available for Wii in June 2010.
In Vacation Isle: Beach Party, up to four players can compete to become experts in unique tropical holiday-style games, ranging from wakeboarding through to surfing and even fire dancing. Players can engage in these exciting sports challenges and other activities using either the Wii Balance Board accessory or the Wii Remote.
"Vacation Isle: Beach Party is a great escape with its family-friendly party games utilising the Wii Balance Board," said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Development and Production, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "Players of all ages and experience can surf, water ski and enjoy several activities of an exotic summer vacation in their living room."
Along the way, players will collect hundreds of Sand Dollars that can be used to purchase a wide variety of sports equipment and beach gear from the Surf Shack to uniquely personalise their Vacation Islander avatar.
Vacation Isle: Beach Party delivers fun player customisation; a wide variety of difficulty settings and a multitude of course options. Catering to both the young and young-at-heart, Vacation Isle: Beach Party is the perfect destination for everyone from the casual to the most competitive beachgoers, right in the comfort of their own home.
