Real Heroes: Firefighter was one of the earlier Wii titles we reported about (June 2007). However, nearly two years after our initial report we still had a mere 4 screens in our database. Until today, that is...
Looking to give back to those who risk it all to keep us safe, game developer Epicenter Studios announced that they will be donating a share of their proceeds from Real Heroes: Firefighter for the Wii to the Firefighter Cancer Support Network.
"We wanted to try to give back to these brave women and men who put their lives on the line every day to keep the public safe," said Nathaniel McClure, CEO of Epicenter Studios. "This is our attempt to bring recognition and support to a wonderful organization that not only supports firefighters battling cancer but also aggressively promotes prevention and early detection."
In addition, Conspiracy Entertainment and Epicenter Studios are pleased to release several new images from the game itself. Featuring a top-notch voice cast, experience raging infernos and explosive environments alongside the rest of your Engine Company 13 squad through a story-driven adventure in this unique first-person action game.

In development by Epicenter Studios, Real Heroes: Firefighter emphasizes non-violent, game-integral puzzles and challenges that mirror the on-the-fly choices firefighters face every day. Featuring Epicenter's proprietary "Thinking Fire" technology, blazes will seem almost alive as they not only attack structures, potential victims and firefighters, but also cause unexpected changes to the environments that will suddenly alter the player's options and strategies. Designed in cooperation with veteran firefighters, Real Heroes: Firefighter ensures that no two scenarios will play out the same.
Real Heroes: Firefighter is set for a June 2009 release in North America.
