Konami let us know that they've released Tomena Sanner on WiiWare, a side-scrolling action game in which you get to race against the clock to reach the Ultimate Dance Party. You wouldn't want to miss out on that, would you?
Konami today announced the availability of Tomena Sanner on WiiWare. In this zany, side-scrolling action game popularized in Japan, players must race against the clock while avoiding a myriad of obstacles in order to reach the ultimate dance party.
"Tomena Sanner distinguishes itself among other downloadable titles because of its wacky and comical perspective on casual gaming," said David Daniels, Director of Marketing at Konami. "In exposing Tomena Sanner to the North American audience, we wanted to provide gamers with a fun, quirky and amusing 'party game' fit for all players."

In Tomena Sanner, players assume the role of Hitoshi Susumu, a businessman who is behind schedule and can't stop running. Players are tasked with helping Mr. Susumu on his madcap adventure, while avoiding barriers along the way including samurais, T-Rexes and cowboys. A unique time-based control system challenges gamers to coordinate their moves to keep up speed and perform various tricks such as flying, jumping and dancing in order to reach their dance party destination.
By the touch of just one button, gamers of all ages and skill levels can guide Mr. Susumu to his goal while reading humorous notes that flash along the in-game ticker. Nine different levels including Moon, Jungle and City landscapes ensure long lasting fun, while the multiplayer mode allows up to four players to race against each other in order to compete and compare online rankings and high scores. Additional games modes like Endless Level and Turbo up-the-ante by testing players' endurance and skills.
Tomena Sanner is now available for download on WiiWare for 500 points.
