It seems that next year gamers can look forward to EA's NASCAR title for the Nintendo Wii, but don't expect any cars in the game.

For a while now the Nintendo Wii hasn't really had many great racing titles other than Mario Kart which has a large audience, one that EA wants to target.

It has been revealed that EA will bring a NASCAR title to the Nintendo Wii but instead of cars, players drive around in karts. The game's current title is NASCAR Kart Racing, and seems it may be similar to Mario Kart.

So is this a wise move by EA creating a racer for the Nintendo Wii but not letting you race in cars but rather karts? Maybe the game should be titled NASKART.

The 12th of Feburary 2009 is the current placement date for the release of this title.
