YGGDRA UNION NORTH AMERICAN RELEASE CONFIRMED

Altus brings us the Turn-Based Stratgey RPG Yggdra Union from the makers of the Riviera: The Promised Land, Sting.


Today Altus USA confirms that Sting's Turn-Based Stratgey RPG Yggdra Union for the GameBoy Advance will be coming out in North America this fall. Altus also brought over Sting's first GBA RPG Riviera: The Promised Land last year. Yggdra Union takes place in the kingdom of Fantajinia where the peace has been disturbed by the invading forces of the Empire of Bronkia. Now the princess seeks help from the remote valley at the southern tip of the continent where she meets Milanor, and together they get ready for a war of liberation...

YGGDRA UNION Key Features:

* Strategic gameplay in which decks of “Tactical Cards” are used to determine battlefield movement, special attacks, and more!
* Character design by manga artist Satoko Kiyuzuki and card design by Sunaho Tobe, character designer of “Riviera: The Promised Land”!
* Over 30 attack, defense, and support skills!
* Join forces with other allies to form an unbeatable Union!

Yggdra Union has not yet been rated by the ESRB.

There was already a preview movie posted earlier. Someone could get some screenshots off of that.

I'm definitely getting this game. It looks absoluetly incredible.

Nice :D I´ve seen the movie back then and didn´t believ this game to be ever releases outside Japan. Don´t know anythin about "Riviera", but this one looks damn sweet :) Maybe some of the best grafics you can get on GBA and "Tactical Fantasy Card-Based RPG" sounds for me like "Don´t mention the other games arount here, you idiot - JUST BUY ME!!" :D

Riviera was an epic-level disappointment. I want this really bad, however. It's a shame there have been no really great fantasy RPGs for the DS. Alas, FFIV will have to do for now.
